Stork Birthday Party

The Zwin guide will take you for a walk along the nesting poles in the park. The first walk starts at 10:00 on the entrance square. Each hour, you can join the tour to find out about the Zwin’s storks and their young.

• Times: 10:00 – 11:00 – 12:00 – 13:00 - 14:00 – 15:00
• You don't need to book this walk ahead of time, it’s included with the Stork Weekend activities in the standard entrance ticket.

The park looks quite different when the storks and their chicks have returned to their spots on the nesting platforms.

Visit the guide at the stork tower and take a look from the tower. You can watch the nest without disturbing the birds!

Guide present from 10:30 till 16:30

Children make their own stork crown to fully imagine themselves as a real stork or listen to the story “Stork.

Children's activity from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the observation center.

Story in the forest cabin from 1:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. 

As well as the guides who will tell you more about the storks, you’ll meet other guides during your visit: 

• Sweetwater lab - from 10:30 till 16:00
• Observation hut with a view of the breeding islands  - from 11:00 till 16:30
• Saltwater lab  - from 12:30 till 17:00

Following the great success of the two previous editions, the Swarovski Optik Discover Nature Tour will again be present in the Zwin Nature Park this year.

From the observation tower you can take pictures of the storks with your own cell phone using phone adapters and ST Vista telescopes.

The Mobile Experience trailer of Swarovski Optik will also be present. Here you can try out the whole range of binoculars and telescopes and admire not only the storks' nests but also all other flora and fauna. Last year a couple of buzzards were spotted but also falcons, oystercatchers, herons etc.
