Income of Zwin Nature Park

By purchasing your ticket, you contribute to a better experience of nature for both humans and animals in our special tidal area.

The income from the park goes entirely back into the operation and maintenance of the nature park:

• Maintenance of the visitor centre, park and the Zwin plain
• Implementation of the Zwin Nature Park management plan
• Development of new temporary exhibitions
• Establishing educational packages, modules and activities for a broad target audience (individual visitors, schools, groups and companies)
• Provision of extra services in the park (educational apparatus, telescopes, etc.)
• Support and guidance for some 50 Zwin guides who take care of the activities for young and old in the nature reserve
• Stimulation of sustainable mobility
• Scientific research: bird ringing, transmitter fitting of storks, tit research, Motus tracker, ...
