Our guides are available at various locations to supply you with information on the fauna and flora in the Zwin Nature Park!
The observation cabin
At the observation cabin, the guide will tell you more about the birds on the breeding island. You can take a closer look with a telescope or the Swarovski telescopes.
Every day from 11:00 to 16:30
The freshwater lab
Observe freshwater creatures, beetles, dragonfly larvae... many different organisms that live in the park’s ponds.
During the week from 10:30 to 16:00
During the weekend and public holidays from 10:00 to 17:30
The Zwin plain
Curious to know everything about the Zwin plain? A Zwin guide will be there at the beginning to tell you more about this unique tidal area.

The salt water lab
A salt water lab has been installed in the observation centre. Here, you can see the creatures that live in the creeks of the Zwin plain. The Zwin plain is the intertidal area and is flooded each day by water from the North Sea. You can find shellfish, shrimps, small crabs, cockles and the sea anemones that live on the shellfish and crustaceans.
